The hysteria coming from the media with regard to immigration is reaching mind boggling proportions.

They are telling lies, out right lies. Today the Mail is banging on that we cannot afford the immigrants, citing the bill for benefits as evidence. What they didn't bother to mention was that they actually pay more tax than they draw either in benefits or through public services. The Sun has been ranting about them stealing our jobs. What they pailed to point out is the almost direct corolation between areas where imigrants settle and full employment, ie they are coming to do jobs that businesses over here can't get locals to do.

I think I might turn to drink.
